Variations of Poker

In Poker, each player antees a certain amount to begin the game. Then, they bet their chips into the middle of the table. The highest-ranking hand wins the pot. Betting takes place clockwise, and continues until all players have either called or folded. If a player is in a winning hand, he or she should bet all of their chips into the pot. If no one calls or folds, the bet is re-taken.

There are several different varieties of poker. Some games require fewer than five cards, such as Three-Card Monte, Spit-in-the-Ocean, and Omaha. However, it is important to note that you will be limited by the amount of chips in the pot. For example, if the player to your left has bet $10, you would call him.
